A world shaped like a closed torus (a donut-shaped world).
The world is located in the plane of the torus's equator, bordered in the rear half by a mountain range that transitions into hills, which quickly merge into a plain. On the plain in the center of the world is the ring of the collider's ground portion (the ring's radius is half the radius of the torus). Within the collider's ring is a territory divided into four equally sized segments (the segments are described below in counterclockwise order). One segment contains a park and a pond, the pond being closer to the center. The second segment contains a residential community of one- and two-story buildings. The third segment contains a scientific laboratory studying the processes occurring in the collider. The fourth segment contains an abandoned military unit shaped like the letter U. At the center of the collider's ring is the building of the fusion power plant. Beyond the outer edge of the collider's ring, a small lake is located at the bottom. Two rivers originate in the mountains at the top of the world, flow around the collider ring—one larger on the left, the other smaller on the right—and empty into a lake.
